I would argue that it's fairly straightforward. You only have 10 years per decade, so you can't divide it cleanly into 3's. Thus, it has to be:

Early 50's: 50, 51 and 52

Mid 50's: 53, 54, 55 and 56

Late 50's: 57, 58 and 59

What are any other methods that are at least logically defensible?

50

51-53 Early

54-55-56 Mid

57-59 Late

60

That's how I would do it.

So 50 would not be in your early 50's?

It doesn't matter how old she is, As long as her beaver can still make you jizz.

It's not your best work. you still have the rhyme, but the rhythm is just a little off... I think so anyway; I don't remember the exact rules on blank verse.

Oh...you wanted an actual rhyme?

once she has birthdays of 18 or better,
The age doesn't matter (though the young ones get wetter)
If you find yourself laid in bed with a lady,
Who cares if she's twenty, or forty, or eighty,
It doesn't expire (though you might need some lube),
If you don't take advantage, then sir, you're a rube,
If you don't pluck the fruit that hangs there, you've been robbed,
Of the experience of a gummy blowjob,
Who cares if she could be your mom or your granny?
Just blow off the dust and stick it in her fanny,
She was there at Woodstock, world wars she lived through,
She could teach your wee peter a thing (perhaps two),
So don't judge her 'cause her tits sag to the ground,
Just give her some smooches, then give it a pound,
And if you find a rich cougar, just grin and bear it,
You can buy younger ones with the wealth you'll inherit.

I would just say I'm 50, not early 50s even though either way is correct.

53 is early 50s, not mid though.

nah. How can the 4th year of a 10-year set still be considered "early"?

Why put a number on age.. It's all in the hands, just look at the hands. You can deduce many things.

I'm with Teddy. 53 should be with the early group.

Huh?
50.0 - 53.3333 = Early 50s
53.3334 - 56.6666 = Mid 50s
56.6667 - 60.0 = Late 50s

Tough business this cyphering.
