Sick of this smearing the water around bullshite. I want some rags that actually dry dishes.

Once washed, I find that flour sack towels dry well because they are very absorbent. They're so absorbent, though, that I go through a number of them since they get pretty wet. I have a ton of them and other dishtowels as well, so that's not a problem.

My dishwasher dries the dishes. If you dry with cloth, when you wash the dishcloths don't dry with or use softener. The softener makes them less absorbent.

Not all of my cooking utensils, pots, pans, knives, cutting boards can go into the dishwasher, so I use dishtowels a good bit, plus I wash my hands a lot.

I am a clean freak and love these for dishwashing, drying and wiping counters and appliances. You have to order them but they arrive quickly. It's a mom and pop operation and they're made in North Carolina.
