This is so true for every generation beyond the personal POV. Think about how much advice you'd give to the average 18 year old in today's society.

Take out a ton of student loans, and buy this stock in a company called Google the day it comes out.

Put at least 30k in.
Take 1/4 out in seven years and buy these things called "bitcoins" sell out in four years.

retire at 35.

He didn't say what would you tell yourself when you were 18. He implied what would you tell an 18 year old today.
