When that hurricane hit Cabo a year or so ago, the community totally came together to ensure everyone was OK. The local law-enforcement, and the military, collaborated with Walmart and Costco to provide all available food to the residents of Cabo. No looting, no crime, just resilience among desperate neighbors.
But dat "travel warning" do?!

By then there might be trucks able to get in. I know HEB has a ton of trucks ready to roll into town as soon as possible.
I was in the Target in Rosenberg this afternoon and while certain items were getting into short supply, we still found enough to carry us through Thursday or Friday.

To be fair, you can eat an entire MRE and be good to go for 48hrs. On the flip side(bonus), you won't have to crap for 3 (days). You do the math.

As long as people have water people will be fine. Going 3-4 days without food isn't going to kill you.
Certainly not, but the desperation may "make" people do things to put their lives in danger.
Also, nature is starting to provide some food a lot of displace gators and snakes starting to come out. If food gets short I know what I'm doing...
