Quite possibly. For kids stuff, it was great. Movies, not as good as the 80s, but still had some solid flicks. For music and fashion, it was atrocious, but fashion was awful in the 80s as well.

I blame the music industry and MTV.

And I certainly think of the 70s/80s/90s pop culture the 90s is probably the worst of the three. But there was plenty of good. Videogaming and computer expansion/internet being the the big ones.

If nothing else the 90's gave us a few iconic films like Goodfellas and Forrest Gump. The music was all over the map but you had Nirvana, Metallica at their best and finished with and Dr. Dre and others emerging on the rap scene. Fashion was less mortifying than the 80's but the grunge era was bad. There is nothing attractive about a girl wearing Dr. Martens boots, beat up jeans and a long sleeve flannel shirt..

the 80s were much worse than the 90s. fashion in the 80s was horrible. movies, music and tv shows from the 80s seem so dated today and a lot of it is extremely cheesy. music from the 90s was awesome, minus the annoying ska bands. real hip hop was at its peak in the 90s, and gangster rap tolerable. rap music now is absolute dog shite. rock and alternative bands in the 90s were great and hold up well today.

The only ones who think the 90s kicked arse are the ones who didn't grow up in the 80s or some other prior decade.

90s fricking sucked.

I definitely think the opinions of an over the hill wrestler and a 40 year old stripper are the definitive opinions.
