If they really work, why should everyone need to wear one. If the people who want to/feel better about wearing one wear them they will be protected from those who don’t. Simple logic. Truth is they don’t work and people don’t have the balls to separate from the mindless herd.

Has to be one of the dumbest things I have seen in the argument for/against masks. You still do not understand what the makes are for, but I see you are from Georgia where the governor sues the mayor and then back off when numbers skyrocket and schools are closed.

You think viruses only travel in spit? Also, your only looking at about 1/10 the equation. What about the part where masks increase the viral load and could make someone with a relatively minor case turn into a major one? What about the part where increased CO2 consumption changes the alkalinity in your lung cells thereby making them a better host to the virus, this one in particular? But you want me to spit in my wife's face? Lol, you don't know half of what you are talking about or anything at all about viruses.

It really is a shame that people like you are out there putting everyone at risk just cause you think you are cool for refusing to do the bare minimum that could help slow the spread of the virus. No, it’s not perfect unless you have an N95, but masks plus social distancing slow it down A LOT. But you are free to do what you want because this is America, it’s just a shame people think like you.

Sorry boi. I don't have to follow unconstitutional mandates based on ignorance and fear. Executive orders are not laws. Thanks for your opinion, though.

Let me know when this pandemic affects more than 0.04% of the population.

We just need to flatten he curve. That's all. Promise. This will all be over in a few weeks.

They are mandated where I live but my sheriff says the EO is unconstitutional and refuses to enforce it.

I went to a doctor yesterday. I refused to wear a mask after entering. When I was in the room, the doctor walked in, shut the door and removed his mask. He says they don't work how they are being used and it's all just BS.

I went to another doctor today, also refused to wear a mask after entering. I saw a group of nurses (no pics) talking with their masks down. I told one, "I'm sorry but I won't wear a mask." She told me not to apologize because they don't work and we shouldn't be forced to wear them.

Why are people still wearing masks? Study after study shows that they are useless in a community setting and could potentially be making things worse by introducing a contamination aspect.

Still too much of a pussy to not wear a mask at work though, eh?

I walk in with it below my chin, get in my office and take it off. Thanks for your interest in my daily life.

I'll just take one for fun...viral load is speaking to how much virus you are exposed to from someone else which will determine if you actually develop an active infection and if so how severe it may be. If you are infected, the whole point of a mask is to catch as much of the expelled virus as possible. Or do you think that people with a cold make their own cold worse when they cough?

I'd love to peruse some links where you've picked up some of this ridiculousness from.

Also, here's a fun experiment...have your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend stand about 3 feet in front of you. Put on a mask. Try and spit in his/her/its face.

What kind of people do you hang out with where y’all are spitting in each other’s face all the time?

I can honestly say I’ve never had a stranger spit on me. So... what good does your mask do in a situation that has NEVER happened to me?

Masks prevent people from congregating/socializing because most people feel like idiots wearing them plus a lot of people stay at home more because they feel stupid wearing them in public. Pay attention next time you are in a store - less chatting with strangers, less people congregating, etc. etc. Unless it is an N95 that is properly fitted, place on/removed with proper donning techniques, it is not doing anything from any perspective other than being a nuisance and preventing people from socializing/congregating as much as they used to. Observe how you and your family handle your masks. You don't do it right and you are increasing your chance of infection if indeed you have the virus on your hands (which is highly unlikely).

Let me update you.

N95 does nothing. N99 are the virus protecting masks. Even those must be combined with proper procedures and additional ppe to work.

Refusing to wear a mask if you are well does not spread the virus.

Asymptomatic people are not spreaders of the virus.

Do you even keep up with the latest research?

What's funny about people like you is that you're pro freedom, anti government and laws, but then you can't be trusted to be smart enough to do what's right. So people like you are the very reason laws and rules have to be put in place at all.

Because you think you know better than everyone else, and of course #muhfreedom

Facts are irrelevant. Only feelings matter.

Wear your mask. The feelings of dozens of people depend on it.
