Damn son.
As the only qualified Baw with Africa heat experience, saying this doesn't measure up makes me feel like even more of an iron man.

I've played some brutally hot rounds this summer. It's gonna make playing this fall feel that much better.

I wish there were a few 2-course clubs in and around New Orleans. I am looking forward to the City Park Championship Course though

Wellll it certainly is a beautiful piece of property, no one can deny that.

The layout leaves a little to be desired, there are a few holes out there that are just

The only way for a course like this to survive and thrive is to build a community around it...if you are depending on only homeowners and commuters that's how it gets tough in a hurry. You need to encourage people to move their families there, and therefore need long-term amenities like schools, playgrounds, simple health care and things of that nature. That model has proven to work, but usually involves incredible insight, timing, and long-term vision from the start for many of these types of developments.

The wedding/event thing isn't the worst idea either, there is big money in that and it could be a nice "middle ground" wedding weekend in terms of pricing if done correctly

How was it?

We used to make a trip out there every fall, but haven't been since the greens were messed up a few years back.
