its amazing what people, mostly women, will spend on weddings and the fine details they will go through...
I'm generalizing here, but the girl who wants the big, expensive wedding is more often than not going to be high maintenance and come with a ton of other baggage I just wouldn't want to be associated with.

GTFO!!

My entire wedding was $5k or so.

Wife and I decided to get married in Vegas. Her mother begged us not to as she wanted to see her daughter have a "real" wedding. I didn't care, my wife didn't either, so we told her Mom she could plan and pay for it if she wanted, and she did. I had nothing to do with the planning at all, and my wife spent less time on planning than probably 99.999999% of brides do. That's how I need a picked the right one.

Another moron. You cannot malisciously ruin another person's livelihood woithout repurcussions. What shoul dht ephotogs do? Kill the complainers? No, you sue them.

You cannot garnish wages in Texas except for child support.

Texas is a very debtor oriented state. They could have a $500k home and the creditor cannot touch it (homestead).
So any lawyers or someone in the know that knows the likely end game here?

It sounds like that photographer likely never gets the business back to what it was before nor will she see much, if any, of the $1mil.

But the couple likely never pays anywhere near the $1mil, so other than public shame, what did they really lose?

Dangerous how?

You think defamation is some new concept and this set some new precedent?
