Ways to increase your social circle?

Im in college, but my friend group(mostly from HS) is getting stale. We love chilling together, but all they want to do is smoke weed and sit at home.And its always a sausage fest. I want to do what I see other friend groups doing : going to restaurants, theme parks, swimming, tubing, exotic locations, conventions, sports games, concerts, etc.
What are some ways to meet other people and make actual friends.

Join a social softball/kickball league
Join a gym that focuses on group classes and go to the same time class consistently (like spin, crossfit, etc.)

Your college should have some organizations and clubs you can join, fraternities usually do the trick or at least some sort of organization inside of your major so that you have some basic interest with the people you can build off of

Get a job where a bunch of college kids work. Seriously, I met a lot of really good friends that way. And if it's a restaurant, you get the added bonus of fricking all the slutty waitresses.

Your in college. What college? Most schools have all sorts of social events and things. I'd just say get more involved in something at school. Whether its Intramural sports, or joining some sort of club. A job can also help if you work with some cool people.

Walkons, BWW, etc. Most sports bar type places hire college kids as bus boys, waiters/waitresses and such.
Edit: I worked valet at Lauberge. Made a bunch of friends with some good people.
