Watch an F-16 fighter jet blast a drone out of the air

A Royal Danish Air Force F-16 participated in a live-fire exercise that involved shooting down a remote drone in mid-flight with a guided missile.
A new video of the exercise shows off the jet's impressive display of accuracy. The drone is a Banshee 600 from Meggitt Defence Systems in the UK. Meggitt describes it as the "industry standard in affordable aerial targetry for surface-to-air and air-to-air weapon systems." The footage of the F-16's guided missile tracking it down and taking it out is a thrill to behold.
A Danish fighter jet shows off top-gun skills for the modern age by taking out a flying drone with spectacular accuracy.

correct me if i'm wrong but what's great about him taking out a drone with a missle that has lockable guidance on it? it's not like the guy was taking it out with guns and tailing the thing.

Wasn't the pilot's fault that he wasn't too close for missiles so he didn't have to switch to guns.

i'd hesitate to give him the label of "top gun skills" when he shot a robot down with a missle. it just doesn't seem all that difficult with today's technology.
