Sad I always tip 20% unless service was crap then it's 10%-15% depending how bad.
18% if everything was bad, but at least my drinks were refilled.

Screw that. In my mind, they go in getting 0% tip, and they earn every percentage. ok service gets 12-13%, great service gets 20%. Bad service can get as little as a suggestion in the tip box.
For instance, we ordered lettuce wraps as an appetizer and told the waitress we wanted that first and to not start cooking the main dishes until the lettuce wraps came out. The waitress then brings my dish, doesn't stop when we asked her about the lettuce wraps and runs back to the kitchen. Comes out 5 minutes later with my wife's dish, so I told her we don't want the lettuce wraps. she comes out with them wrapped in a to go box and said "boss lady say ready, you take to go." that earned her a $1 tip only because she laughed at one of my jokes.
