But you can continue to deliver shocks as long as the probes are still attached.

The justification will come from the police officer protecting the public. It would be argued that any person willing to shoot a police officer with his own taser, is capable of extreme harm to other people and the officer in pursuit. You'll see if they can prove that the guy tasered the cop.

They will never get passed this argument with me. Regardless of what transpired up until that point, the defendant was unarmed and fleeing the scene. fricking cop unloaded on him in the back and killed him. Inexcusable. Sorry.

So cops are allowed revenge killings? Also, the cop clearly has the taser in his hands in the pictures you are jizzing over. So if anyone shot the cop with the taser it was the cop himself

And he also has the taser in his own fricking hands with the guy 10 ft away.

According to the article the taser itself is the object that lands on the ground behind the officer. I think the only thing he has in his hand is his pistol.

Did the guy who was taking the video say he watched the cop taser the victim prior to the shooting?

You also never the see cop dragging anything or wires hanging out when he walks up to the body or when he runs back to pick up the taser and drop it near the victim.

Let's imagine for a second that Scott tased Officer Slager, then ran.

Does that excuse shooting Scott in the back when Slager was still perfectly functional?

If the stop was legal, and the guy tasered the police officer with his own taser, that shooting will become justified. The planting of the taser near the guys body is a whole other discussion and he should definitely be charged for that, which I would imagine is a felony. I guess we'll see if they can prove that he was tasered.

I understand the logic behind statements like this, but stop for a moment and consider that the police department -- his own department -- arrested this man and his own DA charged him with MURDER. Didn't happen in Eric Garner, Mike Brown or Tamir Rice.

It takes a lot to cross that blue line and his own coworkers fricking JUMPED across it.

The evidence is heavily against him.

Looks like the cop was doing his job. Why he was stopped (broken taillight) does not give anyone the excuse to run. Just like in the Brown case, people are too quick to judge, instead of waiting for the facts to come out. It has been made to be a black and white issue ever since Ferguson.

So I guess you missed the part where he unloaded into the guys back as he ran away?

well the still shot in the video! The dam cop has wires hanging out him. You can see shite and you know it

WTF

I do not see prongs in the cop. I see him holding the taser with the leads hanging down and one attached to the suspect. Then the taser drops from the cop just before he murders a guy by shooting him in the back as he runs away unarmed.

Then he picks up the taser and places next to his dead body and later pretends to pick it up for the first time.

If he thought the guy was a threat his job is to shoot until the threat is gone. He fired 8 rounds which is not "emptying his clip". He shot until the guy fell. My problem is I don't think the guy was a threat to him any longer.

This is so stupid. This story has proven to me that racism is still alive and well. So many white people are in complete denial. Never once thought I would hear that come out of my mouth

He's a royally dumb shite if, after getting tasered by the guy, he walks over and drops it at the guy's feet. Seriously stupid.

even if the guy had the damn taser, once he dropped it and turned to run, the cop had to right to shoot the guy 8 times in the back

His police force disagrees with that dumbass statement.

Agreed. However, a running suspect does not give a cop the excuse to shoot him 8 times in the back. Kindly shut the frick up. Your buddy in blue is going to jail for a long time.
