I went to the one in Metarie last week. First time I had ever been to a Walk On's. It was not bad, I was pleasantly surprised.

it's decent for what it is. In Arkansas I'd bet it'll be outstanding.

It's a sports bar with sports bar food. Depending on location, cute waitresses.

Nothing more nothing less.

If they have the booths there with the taps, it's nice for big game days so you don't have to wait for the waitress. But it surely isn't a fine dining establishment.

ETA: I enjoy it and I like going there over say BWW, Hooters, or Twin Peaks - which is kind of the segment they are in.

It's a sports bar. Food isn't great but not the worst either. I like their ribeye poboy. And the taps at the table are pretty convenient.

ETA ETA: Also like their Tuscan chicken

Burgers not bad. Beer selection decent. Comfortable. Lots of TVs, but set up better than BDub.

They're going to face stiff competition from JJ's.

Agreed. The thing is, WalkOns food, while not fine dining, is a large step above the other sports bar chains. If I have to meet folks at BWW's or Hooters I make it a point to grab something to eat before I go. Definitely not the case with WalkOns.

I didn't know Northwest Arkansas was worthy of a noteworthy acronym lol

Walk-Ons food has significantly improved since they opened. The first few times I've had Walk-Ons I thought the food was overrated as hell. The past couple of years the food has been pretty solid.

Say what you want, but those places stay pretty packed, especially on game day.

It’s mediocre bar food if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s more of an atmosphere place.

Definitely do not agree with that. They're on the same level.

I enjoy the place. I don't really crave anything off their menu other than the cookie skillet though. Past the girls and tv's I wouldn't compare it to Hooters, TP, or BWW. Their menu is is pretty different from the rest.

Not great not bad like everyone has said.

I used to frequent the one by campus for student night on Wednesdays, where everything on the menu was half off with a college id. Now they only have $5 burgers and half off liquor so I rarely go. Think they were wanting to get rid of the culcha that started showing up when everything was half off.
