Money board

This topic stays here, but the guy wanting house advice gets moved to the Money Board.

I intend to launch an official inquiry.

I'll only use locally owned pharmacys

I'll never go back to Walgreens. The one at College and Perkins always took forever, one person out of three working, lines both outside and inside.

Switched over to the place in downtown BR. Free delivery, same day service, nice people. Can't beat local places.

I call my pharmacy as soon as I walk of the doc's office and tell them what I need and by the time I get there it is filled and I just hand them the script and they enter it into the computer and I am in and out in 5-10 mins, tops.

They even save my meds for me each month so they are sure to have them.

Of course I've been going there monthly for nearly 20 years.

ETA: The SO will use Walgreen's and she will drop her script off or the Doc will fax the script over and they tell her it will be an hour or two. That's redonkulous.

I switched from CVS to Rite Aid a few years ago and have been very satisfied with their service. I hope Walgreens doesn't screw it up.

I've never had issues getting stuff filled at Walgreens. If it is something the doctor calls in it's ready by the time I get there. If it's something I drop off and wait for I'm usually not waiting longer than 10-15 minutes tops.

Only time I had to wait longer was not the pharmacy's fault but was an issue with my insurance company
