How does this happen now a days?

We have 9mo old and I can cut the grass, dog barks in the yard, neighbor cuts the grass, watch Tv in the living room loud etc and that baby sleeps through it with the white noise machine on.

Buy your kid a white noise machine it's amazing.

I just always read people complaining about the neighbor waking up their kid cutting the grass too early or the dogs barking and waking up their infant kids

I'm guessing your neighbor is a first time, overly protective parent that gets pissed off when their precious JR is sleeping and anyone in a 300m radius makes a noise louder that a mouse fart.

I have never seen that thread on the OT. What time is too early to mow...neighbors dog is barking and I can't go to sleep...never about kids and sleep

Both my kids could sleep through a rock concert in the living room. The problem is getting the 2 year old to sleep initially.

Unless I'm causing that noise at 3 am, do you know how many fricks I give?

My sister was ridiculous when she first had kids.

Turn the TV off the kids are sleeping.

Everyone has to go outside on the patio to talk the kids are sleeping.

My only gripes are loud bass music and dog barking for a long time.

Lawnmower just sounds like a gentle hum to me.
