Is it just me or are they overusing this feature and sending too many alerts for the app? It didn't use to be like this and I'm seriously thinking of turning them off.

Agree. It's been really bad this week, especially with the Pope's visit. But now it's sending alerts for shite like their broadcasts & other unnecessary things. I just want traffic alrerts.

Settings-Alerts-turn off the ones you don't want.
I agree. They use breaking news alerts like its Twitter or something. I don't think a bus crash in Seattle is going to affect me in B.R. no need for the alert.

Use the Waze app. Best thing going for traffic.

I have mine set to alert me only for traffic issues.
