Cost of living is great, culture is outstanding, and tons of activities for all ages. What more could you ask for? I don't see it getting enough love, but everytime I'm in that city I'm astounded at everything it has to offer.

Do you complain about everything not being free there too?

Not impressed.
River Walk is touristy
food not that good
spurs fans are annoying
Alamo was disappointing
Outlet malls you have to ride to San Marcos
Too close to dangerous Mexico
Hot
Sea World torturing whales
Water parks are a miserable experience
Almost stole the Saints

Sir Charles not a fan of San Antonio women:

quote:

"There's some big 'ol women down there," said Barkley. "That's a gold mine for Weight Watchers." He added, "Victoria is definitely a secret.. they can't wear no Victoria's Secret down there."

San Antonio is great for a weekend trip but I could never see myself living there. It's almost as if once you've experienced everything there then there is nothing new to do; it stays the same.

I don't think it's possible to underrate San Antonio.

I beg to differ, but I'm just a biased resident. I was able to find a quality job here faster than in Baton Rouge.

I like the place. I just bought property in Boerne and have family in San Antonio so I'll spend a bit more time there.

Being the worst big city in Texas and better than Baton Rouge are not mutually exclusive characteristics.

It's OK. Nothing great. Lots of Mexican food, which I like. I had some gumbo from a NOLA food truck, that shite was rolling.

River walk was un impressive. Better than BR though, besides LSU.

I agree, but the OT is more scared of Mexicans than they are blacks.
