Vehicle jumps drawbridge, driver distracted by GPS

“The driver stated that he was looking at his GPS unit while driving across the bridge and did not see the stop arm in the down position until he crashed through it,” Krauel said. “He did not show any visible indicators of impairment.”
Montano was charged with reckless driving and released from the scene.

The news anchor is hot as frick.
And I'm surprised that the incoming ship didn't damage the bridge. It's not like those things can stop on a dime. Unless the bridge goes up as a precaution for and ships that MIGHT be tall enough to hit it.
