Oh I know, I dated a chick who had the same mindset. It's rather pathetic that grown women still act this way. It's extremely juvenile.

Albertsons has a nice floral department as well. Winn-Dixie too. Seriously. You can get a decent dozen roses for about $40 with a vase. Hand deliver and take that bitch to a nice dinner.
