Which do you prefer? Thinking about jumping over to Uverse. Seems much cheaper and you dont have to deal with a dish.

I love uverse but I have never dealt with a dish so I can't compare.

I had dish... Cox and now have uverse. Would recommend uverse if it's available.

Had Uverse for a while now, no outages that I can think of. I had DirecTV before and got tired of the storms screwing up the signal...

My Directv rarely goes out, Directv also has the best picture of all of the services. I tried all of them. Uverse has worst picture but the guide is pretty good. Cox has a terrible guide and a decent picture.

Uverse picture doesn't compare to directv but you won't notice until you switch back. Otherwise I was happy with uverse.

Thunderstorms, general shitty weather: Uverse > Directv

Clear, light clouds, or need of a satellite dish while tailgating: Directv > Uverse.

Thanks.

I would hate to lose picture quality.

I have DirecTv and had Cox before. The picture is unbelievably better than Cox was. I've had it for a year and not once lost signal due to weather. I have no experience with UVerse other than my internet which sucks.

If you like shifty Internet and poor picture quality choose uverse, if you like actual hd go with directv

I switched to directv from uverse. The laggy guide on uverse drive me crazy. I also switched to cox for internet from uverse because it was so slow.

Dtv gets to be expensive over time, but its exclusivity deal with NFL Sunday Ticket makes it worth whatever I would pay for season tickets...especially since I live over 600 miles away from NOLA.

Unless you're poor, there is no question. Uverse. I dont agree withthose claining Direct TV has a better picture.

ETA: Uverse internet blows. Use cox or comcast for internet.
