Because what are you going to do about it, not drive? Our country was built on being able to cover more distances.

FOX has been pushing the myth that Biden shut down US oil production since day one
not totally true, but his BOEM has slowed down offshore oil and gas lease sales. While the inflation reduction act tied wind leases to oil leases, the wind lease sales have been so dismal, that Biden’s BOEM is doing the minimum amount of wind lease sales, and therefore also implementing the minimum amount of oil lease sales.

In any five year period , There’s typically 15 oil lease sales, with this new plan it looks like we’re only seeing about three lease sales for every five years.

no argument there. once the Draconian COVID lockdowns let up, it’s been wiiiide open despite green energy policy attempts to curb O&G.

Oh I don't know, maybe because 81 million people voted for this...

The old supply/demand theory.

Not gonna trick me into believing the President doesn't set gas prices.

I see you carefully craft your operative words while you're spewing a lie. You cannot SHUT DOWN the lifeblood commodity of a functioning 1st world super-power, but what Biden did on Day 1 in office was severely hamper transportation, gas leases etc. You are a fool if you think otherwise, his executive orders on Day 1 are public record. Let me know if we need to pull those and find out exactly what he did in 2021.

Remind me again who controls the SPR and has been using that for purely political purposes?

Not really. He has been doing it.

Biden offers fewest offshore drilling leases ever.

Biden's administration has had to lose multiple court cases related to their actions for us to get to the point the OP and morons like him think they're making.

Nope.

LINK

quote:

The Biden administration has sharply reduced oil stocks in the national Strategic Petroleum Reserve to the lowest levels in decades while China bolsters its oil reserves and ratchets up tensions over a potential conflict with Taiwan.

U.S. government oil in the reserve decreased by nearly half after the administration adopted a plan to curb soaring domestic gasoline prices. U.S. officials say the high fuel prices last year resulted from supply shocks caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, not Mr. Biden’s push for clean energy and discouragement of the use of fossil fuels.

So Congress created legislation in 2022 to perform a monthly selloff of our strategic reserves? Please find me this Bill. I'll be eagerly waiting your findings.

FOX has been pushing the myth that Biden shut down US oil production since day one of that administration. We are producing record levels of oil and gas.
The primary destination of exports of oil are Mexico and Canada. Well below these are exports to Netherlands, Korea and Chyna at about

In a way they are kind of right though. He's banned drilling on most publically owned land. The same thing happened during most of Obama's administration. Not a lot of public drilling but all time highs on private land. Like a poster stated earlier, it's a way for liberals to save face while not running the country's economy to the ground.

It makes sense if you think about it. These are the kind of people who believe the government owns everything. Supporters of property taxes and eminent domain. Haters of freedom. In their view, drilling on private lands is the same as drilling on public lands. In the eyes of a leftist, the government owns everything and merely allows us to rent certain things as long as we pay our taxes.

No they created the legislation in 2015.

Fyi, the terrible "Biden DOE" canceled the sales from 2024-2027 that were supposed to occur.
