Saw a really young looking one the other week. It's funny how looking at people you usually have a good guess about their rank and officer or E.

Thought this guy was an E-6 or so, damn E-9

Coulda been the medals hanging on his chest like a dizzy three year old put them there.

I am not a military guy, but even I would know he was dressed for Halloween.

If he is honestly messed up in the head, should get a free pass. I understand real soldiers reactions to it, but it's not like the guy can help it.

And then he was embarrassed and harassed for nothing. It's shite like this that bothers me.

He also said he earned a Bronze Star at Ft. Stewart Georgia.

Not only that, a Bronze Star with VALOR

Has to be in combat for that.

He seems slow to me, I feel sorry for him if he isn't all there

Seemed to me like he was all there, he was just slow and calculating in his responses to try not to frick himself and get called on something.

He's your typical just graduated USMC basic training go get a few douchey USMC tattoo's wanna be operator latino kid. Basically, we weren't surprised to see him harass someone who's clearly not all there.
Wow, looks like me and Sabi nailed this one. I think most respectful marines and ex-military would never actually be the ones making these videos calling people out. It is the douches that were meat heads that were actually hated in their own platoons that are usually in these if i had to guess

Such bullshite. I respect the armed forces for all they do, but there is a time and place for everything. And at a funeral is not one of them. Being in the military does not give one a "get out of jail free card" for everything

You realize you're talking about enlisted Marines, right? They have no filter, they train that out of em. KILL!

To be fair, they weren't at the funeral...they were in the parking lot. And actually moved the conversation away at one point.

Exactly the way I took it. It's not like they waited until the preacher was up there giving the eulogy. They let the funeral end and then got him off on his own in the parking lot. They were totally in the right for calling him out as the piece of shite he is.

their behavior is pointless

It's just a by-product of having it hammered into your head that you don't wear anything you didn't earn. I'm not the type to correct strangers on the street, but I get where they're coming from.

Yeah obviously, but how did they even know about this guy? How did they see him? It's a safe assumption that they weren't in the funeral

Guy deserved to be called out, but not at a fricking funeral. Stupid arse jarheads obviously weren't at the funeral given their attire, so they must have approached him. Retarded

Why do people care or get offended about this?

I just don't get it.

The right thing to do would be to have a civil conversation to someone who clearly isnt all there and tell them what the uniform means, and how it hurts to see someone trying to be something they are not. I guarantee if there was a video of this, the marines would get great publicity and it may actually help the unifrom wearer change his ways

It is not uncommon in my rate to have an E-7 under the age of 30, with around 10 years in..

Exactly. Anyone who's past week three of basic training can take one look at his uniform and see he's totally full of shite.

They probably had a friend at the funeral who knew something was off about the guy and he called up his buddies who were Marines to give the guy hell.

frick yourself. It's a representation of the entire branch. The highest echelon of the enlisted military. It is earned, and this guy parading around in that uniform gives a very different depiction of what an actual sergeant major is.
