Such a shame to know there are young professionals out there actually enjoying their lives instead of coming home every day at the same time, slamming the door, and letting that bitch wife and all those bastard kids know how goddamned good they have it before plopping down in front of the TV. If the Good Lord wanted us to be happy, he wouldn't have expelled us from the Garden of Eden.

Agreed. Millennials are pussies.

I don't pay into social security...and not gonna get a pay out..

Just gotta worry about politicians trying to stick their hand in my retirement cookie jar!

I have a feeling if you broke this down by race two would be significantly higher than the rest.

This is the real problem. The nonproducing part of the population is out pacing the producing part. Responsible people like myself and my wife decide how many children we can provide a good lifestyle to and plan our reproduction accordingly. I wish every race in our country would worry about such things.

This guy behind this site says it will level off and stay relatively stable. He calls it "peak child" and he has some videos with some interesting thoughts about it.

It's not if you want your social security to pay out. Need productive people to replace the ones going into retirement.

The kids not being born now won't help SS anyway. The large glut of Baby Boomers will all be dead before a child born in 2016-17 gets to the point they are putting into SS.

We need the welfare recipients to stop having so many fricking kids

But the more they have the bigger their check.

The system is broken and encourages illegitimate children.

Blame feminism. Men can't reproduce themselves , and now that women are taught to compete with men for jobs...Someone said it above about war. Male scarcity is the key , the problem is that modern wars don't get rid of enough of the men anymore so feminism hovers over society like a cloud of death.

The millenial vs boomer shite is so overplayed. I'm 31, own my own business, also work a salaried job, and have two kids. I do very well and work my arse off to support them. I do believe my generation puts off having them for some things I see as selfish, but this is also partially due to us getting dealt a shitty hand by the previous generation. Always plenty of blame to go around to both sides. However there are plenty of us out there who just choose to sack up and deal with it and make great lives for ourselves and our families.

People who plan ahead and want to live something more than a hand to mouth existence put more thought into each kid they might add to their total because each kid greatly affects the lifestyle available to that couple.

People who live hand to mouth don't care much because another kid isn't going to change anything for them anyway, probably get enough from the govt either in handouts if they don't work or tax credits if they do to make it all even anyway.

LOL like I ever thought that pyramid scheme would ever pay out.
it isn't just SS.

Societies require productive people.

The lower the percentage of productive people, the worse off the society will be. That INCLUDES the productive people

Soooooo...is it time for a baby tax. In short, 1,000 per child. frick the Duggars and Octomom. Additionally, government assistance would be limited to ONE child. Birth control can be made available for free if it isn't already. If the 1,000 tax is not collected on the first child, then he/she would lose government benefits if they were needed. For the right wing bat shite crazy conservatives that hate all taxes, as well as the looney tunes whack job liberals that think everything should be free...frick ALL OF YOU!
