If you are impaired and you get behind the wheel, you should be charged with murder/attempted murder if you cause an accident.

Sorry, but when you have been affected by distracted/impaired drivers you will think differently.

Wasnt arguing either way but when the first guy said something about it, I googled the actual definition of murder

The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another

LiveLeak - Unedited video

You basically see the girl filming her self giving the most emotionless apology to her dead/dying sister while showing her sister with a bashed in skull on the side of the road.

I watched. Maybe I was hoping it wouldn't be so bad.

I regret this decision.

As a society, we need to brand the use of social media while driving the same way drunk driving is branded.

This article was back in 2013:
LINK

But it compares drunk driving to texting/using cell phone. It says someone using their phone while driving is equivalent to someone having 4 drinks (I am not sure what 4 drinks is suppose to equal considering the wide range of ways 4 drinks can affect people).

No. Because its an accident. You said it yourself. Im sure you are going to say it was preventable. Well so are the thousands of accidents that dont involve impairment. You want to start charging everyone with murder?

No words really.

Kill this bitch immediatly.

Extremely disturbing.

Minimum life in prison.

Anyone like this with zero empathy can't be in society.

If I called it an accident, then it was a poor choice of words for something that wasn't an accident, because you had an impaired driver behind the wheel. That is never something I would consider accidental when you have impaired/distracted driving.

Thanks. I'm just not gonna watch and instead think of sunny days in the springtime watching the flowers bloom and move on to another topic.

Something tells me this could just have easily been
US teenagers (haven't seen anything indicating citizenship one way or another at this point anyway). We've got plenty of "cultcha" issues here regardless of illegal immigration issues.....

With not having watched the video, I did take a google maps street view of the location of the accident. I take it she must have been trying to make a turn at the intersection going way too fast.

It happened in the town of Los Banos, CA at the NW part of the intersection of hwy 165 and henry miller road near the barbed waire fence.

About the tamest intersection in California, I'd imagine. Imagine the intersection the Tom Hanks was standing in at the end of the movie Cast Away and you'll get the idea.

You've never lived through a stressful situation then. No I don't mean the stress when you frick up at work. I mean the stress of watching someone get shot right next to you.

Without absolute training for stuff like this, nobody reacts in a predictable manner - not even you mr. needle dick.

Just watched the live leak and no words to describe how sick and twisted this girl is. I don't give a shite if this was a complete stranger lying there dead there still should be some signs of empathy. I mean she actually says " if you die bitch" as her sister is laying there with half her head caved in.

False. Ignoring laws due to emotion isn't something I do.

You can say the law should be different, but until it's changed, I hope you're not in any juries.

Actually her words and actions in the video afterward did show more emotion than what's described. After a few moments she seems to start getting a steadily more panicked, shaking her sister and a shouting "get up sweetie".

But yeah she is complete trash. And drunk driving knows no cultural, racial, or class boundaries. But this chick, with her ghetto trash music and attitude, evokes outright disgust. The young generation seems absolutely enthralled with ghetto gutter trash culture, and it's deteriorating the entire country. Twenty years ago I really thought things were heading in a better direction.
