My Kroger is open 24 hours. I don't think that's unusual.

I wont get on my soap box about it but I 100% want public executions to come back and this would be a great time for it

The ones in Rankin County (Flowood and Reservoir) both close at 11 PM Mon through Thurs and are open until midnight on the weekends.

But you're in Memphis which is a big city so I'm not surprised.

The Kroger off I-55 has Hinds County Sheriff's Deputies patrolling and watching guard all day during the day. Unfortunate there wasn't a police presence last night.

Not that it matters but im sure there is more to it than just a stolen vehicle.

Since that location is 24 hours, maybe the mother went in to get something and didn't want to wake the boy up. I'd hate to think that a car theft would lead to the murder of a child, but in all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me.

The one in Madison east of 55 is 24 hour. Not sure about the one on the west side.

No. It's not about the camry as they did not keep it. Someone intentionally killed this child.

Who kills a person for the hell of it, much less a 6 year old.

Probably killed him so he couldn't talk. I won't mention about what.

There's nothing that could justify killing that little boy. Nothing. I hope the responsible person(s) dies a very slow, very painful death.

Also can't wrap my head around leaving a 6yo alone in a car at any time.

The kidnapping happened in Jackson, but the vehicle and body was found in Madison County, does that mean the Madison County DA will be on it?

For you outsiders this is a huge deal. This could mean the difference between 2 years in prison and the death penalty for this piece of shite.

I've never been a big proponent of the death penalty, but given the chance, I'd do it myself to adults that hurt children.

I will support nothing less than the death penalty in this case.

Damn. I'm in Jackson right now and got three amber alerts on my phone this morning. This is horrible.

There is a lot more to this story and all arrows point to a family member who owed the local gang some money and the put a bullet in her son's head to show they meant business. Sad but its the only logical thing that would make sense in this awful and tragic situation involving the death of this innocent kid.

Stole the car with the kid inside it. Then they put a bullet in the poor baby's head.

I'm pretty pissed off about it.

wow

even ordinary scum criminals usually abandon the car and/or the kid without harming them

I really hope this piece of human waste has to go before a Madison judge for this.

The Amber Alert system is the only thing that isn't broken in Mississippi. It works exactly the way it should. Multiple phone alerts, television alerts, road signs had the tag number and car description.
