Regardless, perfect compliance should not be the baseline standard to avoid being killed by an officer, especially when it is anxiety inducing to be pulled over--even for a minor traffic violation.
You can't expect simpletons to think on their own. It's too much to handle.
Besides, this country was founded on disobeying authorities and doing what is right. Some definitely paid the price for doing so back then too.

An unlawful act could be driving without a seatbelt. DEATH PENALTY!!

2. The officer asked for the bottle on how floor. The driver handed him the bottle.
3. The officer asked where he lived. The driver told him.
4. The officer asked for his license. The driver told him he didn't have it, but he has a license (presumably at home) and he can run his name.
He was being pretty compliant. Not like he was being willfully defiant.

i dont see any murder in the video. Idiot should have complied with the cop and not put the car in gear and try to flee. His own fault

Correct. We don't obey all laws, no one is perfect. And my bad for speeding 6 mph over the speed limit. But people in their right mind will comply when confronted by an officer. If you don't comply you never know what could happen. That's how it is. Sadly. If you're going to run from the law then you've accepted your consequences. Just F'n comply and listen to authorities for once.

If only he'd have gotten out of the car and not been difficult he'd still be alive today.

If only the undertrained campus police officer didn't whip out a gun for a routine traffic stop, he'd still be alive

5. The officer asked him to take his seatbelt off and step out of the car and he pulled the door back and started the car and began to drive off.
Let's ignor a critical fact here. It's always wise.

What is very strange to me is people who side with cops killing people are usually the same people freaking out about a national healthcare system, claiming the gov is over stepping its authority.

Do you think putting your car in gear and thinking about fleeing a cop is a crime worthy of a death sentence?
It is not his fault he was shot in the head. If he had been arrested for doing that, THAT would be his fault. Being shot while unarmed and being nonviolent is not his fault. Period.
What the frick is wrong with you "comply or die" people? That is the most fricked up mindset and its truly terrifying that so many people think like that.
You should have no expectation to be killed by a cop in this situation. PERIOD.

You speed,you get pulled over.
Right?

You get pulled over for speeding then proceed to take off, hitting the cop and you see this as the same as breaking the law by speeding????
HOLY frick

The guy deserved to be shot in the head for this?

Did you watch the body camera video?
If he would have obeyed the officers command and stepped out of the car, none of this would have happened.

It's a moot argument anyway.
This cop will be convicted and all of these idiots that swear anything you get while resisting arrest Is justly deserved will be proven wrong by a court of law.
Police should show restraint in using deadly force and the fact that it's taught to officers all around the world is proof enough that this cop did wrong.
