your brother is awesome and so are you for supporting him. Prayers to him and your family if/when he's ever deployed. He has the best training available.

Congratulations. I wish him all the best to achieving his goal. If he can last, it's quite an amazing feat.

He's 23, I'm 39. He's got the youth. endurance and other qualities on his side, but I've probably got the strength and leverage on mine. That said he could probably kill me with a paper clip.

He doesn't even Cross Fit though so I've got that going for me too!!!

That's great. He finish first phase to become a SEAL and you are on the brink of reaching 2000 posts.

He was a cross country runner in HS and was on the team at the Naval Academy, but he wasn't one of their elite guys. In fact he ended up being one of the CC team managers. He also played soccer in HS.

I pretty much played all the major sports growing up. Mistakenly chose to focus on football and Olympic/powerlifting (not much competitively, but more for football) instead of baseball or taking up wrestling in HS. I did walk on to the Baylor FB team during the last years of SWC.

Swimming would definitely be both of our weakest links, but he obviously has been able to overcome that.
