the tone of voice I imagine him saying it in when I read that quote infuriates me the most. Makes me wanna slap the taste out his mouth.

So we can just throw this in the pile of phrases that have no meaning anymore?

What's funny is right now in USA history, you have a time machine in your hands, well...your mouth. Everyone is making it seem that if you say the N-word it's the worst thing imaginable because it demoralizes black people and gives power to the white people. Just like when slave owners used it back in the 1800s.

So, in a sense, if you use the N-word RIGHT NOW you are basically in a time machine because that's the state of the USA today with race relations.

Kinda cool, right?

Apparently. The worst thing Missouri could have done was cave to the protestors. Now all these misguided 'utes' across the country will think that they can demand the same. I mean if their demands aren't met, it means you're a racist right?

Kansas Senate Vice President Shegufta Huma is leading this effort to remove her white peers from elected office.

Some of Shegufta's thoughts:

quote:

Shegufta ?@therealshegufta Nov 11
White people, recognize your privilege. Speak up in conversations. Collect your people! #KUconvo

quote:

Shegufta ?@therealshegufta Nov 11
Forget "free state" rhetoric. Lawrence, Kansas was built on labor of Black people like everywhere else.

quote:

Shegufta ?@therealshegufta Nov 11
KU faculty (deans too) think of themselves as open & liberal but are clearly still Americans with all the prejudices of America.

I prefer to think of it as a Harry Potter spell. Like with this one magic word, I can magically make black people angry and white people uncomfortable. It's crazy how much control you have over people's emotions if you're willing to deploy it.

Exactly.

But time machine is neater because it's like they literally go their in their heads (this is people that are over-sensitive to the word) you are donning the southern attire and drawl, and they are in their poor raggedy garbs and you are just whipping them. Over and over. With the N-word.

Even though they are separated 4+ generations from those atrocities.

Let Cowen do his hunger/hospital games. Either he dies and nobody in the world gives a shite maybe other than his parents, or we call his bluff and he looks like a total douchebag.

It is astonishing how many of these kids behave and think nowadays, I would swat my kids arse with a paddle if they ever acted like that.

I'm curious to know what position his parents are taking among all of this tomfoolery.

Meh, I prefer the Harry Potter imagery. It's lighter hearted and it downplays their "suffering" by showing how ridiculous it is.

Also

I am being underrepresented at work and I cannot deal with these micro aggressions. Now I just have to start a protest and my boss will be fired and I can take his place.

No way I get fired. No way.

That is what giving into these little shits' demands does. It tells them that when they want something, all they have to do is make up fairy tale hardships and cry about it loud enough. Sickening little pukes. Giving in to their temper tantrums has the same effect that giving into a 2 year old's tantrum does.

As an aside, have y'all heard of 'empire'? It's a 'black' series produced and aired by Fox. It's their first 'urban' series and extremely popular.

I don't like the show because it glorifies musicians and promotes celebrity worship. The show is about Empire, a fictional rap production company. The artists and producers refer to themselves as gods in the show... But I'm being long winded, it's very popular.

Last week the main actor knocked out a white guy at the end of the show, then said 'that's what you get, honky arse'.

I'm getting a little tired of the double standards.

Maybe they're paying that guy to strike?

If I were Kansas, I would just ignore it. Let the kids leave that are behind false claims of racism/prejudice/disadvantage.

It would be far less than the amount that would choose not to attend the school over years because of the loads of "inclusive" learning programs/initiatives.

Lets call it for what it is: 99% of the people on these campuses are NOT racist, and its a HUGE waste of time/money to implement all of these tasks forces/initiatives just to clean up the 1% that likely won't ever change.

All they're doing is inconveniencing future students by forcing them to do things that are completely unnecessary.

Why did the faculty at Mizzou become disgruntled about racial sensitivity training? Because they probably thought it was ridiculous they were being seen as racist, and saw the whole thing as a waste of their time and the university's money to try and correct a problem that never really existed amongst them.
