Seems here lately there have been more and more stories like this, where a small group of people are offended and speak loudly and get the changes they want. Which ends up being worse for a majority.
Agreed. The silent majority needs to speak up and take action. These sjw's are merely the very vocal minority with the loudest voice.

I'm all for shutting up the SJWs but I'd rather the majority of BR residents start speaking up and challenge this mayor. Or run her off completely. Why their isn't more opposition to her is worrisome.
Also need to take the game to those who support her. Make them feel the pressure too.

The Baton Rouge Union of Police stand behind the men and women of the Baton Rouge Police Department and the citizens of Baton Rouge. It is confusing to us that the Mayor-President would call for the termination of our Officers before the legal process has concluded, thus preventing their due process
frick Yea!

If the police officers, their families and friends signed a recall petition it would be a very good start.

Not a chance in hell Jeff Landry brings charges against the 2 officers. He backs the blue all day every day. He is a former St. Martin Parish Deputy and Parks police officer.

I'm with you. It's troubling that more people haven't spoken out against Broome and her cabal of racists. There hasn't been a peep from the white members of the EBR metro council, although some former members such as Joel Boe' and John Delgado have called her out publically. I've never been a fan of Delgado but he hit the nail on the head in his recent radio interview. He basically said Broome has done nothing to unite the community, in fact, she's done just the opposite. He called her "the divider in-chief" because of how she's appointed people like Gravy and Denise Marcelle to positions within her administration. He said she has blown the situation way out of proportion in order to further her own agenda. Baton Rouge needs more citizens to speak up before things get worse, because they will. People like Broome, Gravy, Marcelle, etc. have nothing positive to bring to the table, so they race bait incessantly.
Broome needs to start acting like a mayor and addressing issues like crime, traffic, infrastructure, and bringing new businesses to the city/parish. In other words, she needs to give the race baiting a rest and start doing the job she was elected to do. If she doesn't, she should be removed.

I heard that someone found the first draft of that letter in a garbage can. It read something like:
Dear Sharoon:
frick off.
