Back behind the passenger seat unless the driver is shady. If he is I sit directly behind him so I have the tactical advantage.

In an uber x I sit up front. If I saw some dude sitting in the back of a Prius with no one in the passenger seat, I would think that was weird. In the black car / SUV I'll sit in the back to seem important.

I've gotten a ride in a GMC 1500 crew cab or full cab or whatever.
I don't tip. Uber claims it's not necessary. I tipped in DC when the drivers would essentially give a tour of the city on the way to the destination, but normally.

Depends on if I've been drinking or not...
If I'm drunk and feeling good, I'll usually sit up front and help the driver know where to turn and stuff/ have a casual convo if they're nice.
If I'm sober, I'll usually just treat it like a normal cab and chill in the back.
