When the apple of the state's eye folds up shop the night before, the rest of us know we are fricked for the next 24 hours. Currently high winds and 1 below zero in Southern MN, with conditions expected to worsen.

Suck it up pussy. We have had 50 mph winds here in ND all day. It's been white out blizzard conditions. High is in the negatives

This is awesome. We have TD members who have the weather authority to call MN a puss.

I just went through the same thing that's coming your way. I ventured out today for a bit and I was the only car on the road. All the highways were shut down

Nothing wrong with Al. He's done a lot of good for our state.

Haven't I been reading that Alaska is actually having a heat wave and is melting before our very eyes?

It is. Rain as far north as the Arctic circle has caused a lot of problems. We had three straight days here of temps in the upper 40's. Avg. temp in January so far is about 10 degrees above normal.

Valdez had several inches of rain, which caused avalanches that cut off the only road to the town. It may be weeks before it gets opened. Not only covered the road with 100' of snow, but caused the river alongside the hwy to flood.
