PEOPLE THIS CYCLE WILL NEVER END AND THIS DESERVES A CAMPAIGN FAR LARGER THAN THE PHIL ROBERTSON SAGA! WE ALL NEED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY! LETS SHOW THE POWER OF TD AND LET EVERYONE HERE OUR VOICE!

I almost ran past this because of the all caps, but you are right. This is a bigger deal than Phil Robertson and should be covered in a bigger light.

I fear for this child.

We need to give more financial aid to parents like these. The average thug barely makes enough to afford 22"s these days, in a day and age where 24"s are now the standard. If this poor child lived in Louisiana, he would at least be eligible to go to some of the top schools in the family's area with vouchers. Just a shame that none of you racists would want to help a family in need.

By the way, if anyone with a heart is reading, a college fund has been set up through the Omaha area Regions banks. I know I can't link the direct info, but the fund is called the Deuce Nine Boyz Skool Fund.

That's a form of child abuse, plain and simple. Anyone who condones, defends, or minimizes the behavior in that video is complicit.

I've always said that a parent who does not teach their kid how to become a functioning, productive, and self supporting member of society is setting that child up to be a failure at life. It's one of the most cruel form of neglect and outright abuse in my opinion.

People would rather hate on an old white, Christian, redneck than a thug group of blacks basically putting child abuse on video.

Yep, sad but true.

While people are talking about the parents and the kid, I think the bigger problem is exactly this.

The media is here is ABSOLUTELY at fault for calling this wrong and ultimately enabling this behavior. If you don't think the media has a hand in most of this, you're absolutely oblivious.

I think you have hit on something here. There was a time in this country where people would feel shame for this type of behavior. The reason for this is that society had a standard of what was and was not acceptable behavior. All that is gone now. Now all we as a society are worried with is not judging or offending anyone.

does this shock anyone? Sad to say this is very commonplace and I've seen it with my own eyes

and society isn't done. The southeast united states and the wonderful urban utopias of Detroit, St.Louis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Newark, and others are done

Do these people not understand the effects of nurturing in regards to how children are influenced by their surroundings while growing up? It's sad really.
