That's a form of child abuse, plain and simple. Anyone who condones, defends, or minimizes the behavior in that video is complicit.

Yep, does the names Gale Sayers and Malcolm X ring a bell. Wikipedia has a whole page on African Americans in Omaha....

I guess I'm just surprised that the city that gave us 311 would have any black people.

Those "parents" were probably raised in the same environment so they probably don't know any better. It is a sad and destructive circle that is hard to break. Race isn't a part of that circle because you can go to a lot of white areas and see the same exact thing. Very sickening and sad.

What's sad is that

1) there were technically no laws broken so nothing can really be done

2) there was some guy on CNN earlier trying to say the police union shouldn't have posted this on their website (even though the parents or a relative put the video up on their social media first, so it was already public)...and his only argument was basically that it put black kids and parents in a bad light so it shouldn't be posted at all. even Don Lemon (the black host) was going and calling him a moron

its these types of things that NEED to be show so people can understand 1) why some children are growing up the way they are, not valuing education, not respecting authority and not ready to be part of a civilized society and 2) so that hopefully someone can hopefully help this fricking kid

this isn't a race issue at all...it's a social class issue. you can find just as many white trash people in trailer parks talking to their toddlers the same way

it's really infuriating but makes you feel so sad and helpless at the same time...nothing you can do but put your head down and make sure you raise your kids properly

The people in the video are obviously victims of a deeply racist society.

I'm thinking it's older brother(s) or maybe the toddlers cousin or something....
That's way to 'coached' to be that kids parent(s)
