really, it's kind of small place that gets beaten to death on here at least every other week, should be easy to track down

Where are you staying? Just got back.

Best advice: don't fly home on Saturday. Airport is smaller than a small grocery store & is one big unair-conditioned room with dirty floors and not enough seats. 4 major flights fly our of it within 3 hours on Saturday and it's a miserable, miserable experience.

I'm headed there the 12th. I know several OTers have been in the last 6 weeks. Grrl and a few others. Anyone care to name their favorite restaurant? How about (other than staying away from the airport when my flight leaves ) anything to avoid?

was there a month ago. Had dinner the following (in order from best to great) - Coco Bistro, Seven, Caicos Cafe and then Bay Bistro. They were all good, but, i liked them in that order.

If you like Canadians you have hit the snowbird lottery. Slow pace is ok, but more of a romantic getaway and not a party place. Can't remember any really nice places to eat or bad, ours was all inclusive. On a 1-10 it's a five and could be a seven without the Canadians.

if your looking for other things to do we did Snuba and then on another occasion snorkeling trip with Island Vibe, both were enjoyable. Also did a sunset cruise which was very nice as well.

We got bikes and rode around part of the island, nothing to really see except for the shopping area in Grace Bay. It was walking distance from Seven Stars (where we stayed).

Most things are on the beach, so if your hotel is on the beach try walking the beach to spots, very enjoyable.

Wife and I can't wait to go back.

Definitely not a party place, nightlife outside of restaurants with bars was lacking. But, we weren't looking for that at all. Beautiful romantic beaches and great food.

Did you have reservations at those restaurants prior to going down there?

Yes had reservations, but, many nights we called to change times and had no problems. I had the concierge at our hotel book the reservations, i told them what places and what times and they took care of it.
