How far do you want to take that?

You obviously don't understand police training.

More likely negligence homicide just like you get charged with when shooting someone with an "unloaded gun" or that looked like a deer. They basically used he was pos defense. Works like a charm.

Change that "she" to "women" and I agree wholeheartedly. If a woman was to try to arrest me, and I didn't wanna be arrested, then I am 100% confident that she couldn't forcibly arrest me short of shooting me or tasing me.

Exactly where the law takes it right now. If officer reasonably fears for their life, they can use deadly force. They don't have to wait around to find out if their reasonable fear will actually result in death.

Me as well but maybe a little less so. Reaching in the car as he did is a big no no.

I can safely guarantee you that if you move your hands out of sight in an encounter with police, they have been taught and trained to consider you a threat and to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. Hands kill. Not only are they in danger, the suspect is in danger and the public is in danger Now is that necessarily lethal force, or use of force, not necessarily but the one thing they teach over and over again that I've heard is there are no perfect answers. in cases likes this, the suspect's stupidity got him killed.

I know what you're trying to get at but I'll pose the question back to you.

How far do you want to take it in the opposite direction? I fear for the day a cop has to wait to be shot/shot at/stabbed etc before they are allowed to do anything. Doesn't usually work out for the cop when that happens.

I'm a citizen. Are you implying our only way to survive police interaction is to be trained in police tactics?

You should do what they say. Simple as that. I've been lucky enough to know great cops and shitty ones in a past job. i realized from that if I'm ever in an encounter with police, I'm going to obedient as frick. Don't like something? Get a lawyer after the encounter and have your day in court. It's simple.

No, you survive police interaction by complying. It's super simple...even my dog can follow basic commands.

Yes, and here under these facts 12 jurors, including 3 African Americans UNANIMOUSLY decided her actions were justified.

We have had two kids shot locally I know. Both white kids both unarmed, one naked 145 pound kid tripping and went to south Alabama campus cops for help, other too drunk to drive home waiting on cab. One killed the other seriously injured.

If you can't handle a 140 naked white middle class kid or a drunk college kid you don't need to be a bouncer, a security guard, or god help us a cop.
