I started listening to Algorithm and Serial killers. Both are pretty good.

Easily my favorite. Majority of the crimes took place in and around the LP. It isn’t scripted or rehearsed; he is a great storyteller.

Rea life real crime is good. He’ll make your sugar turn to shite. He does an episode on my wife’s family. They weren’t very pleased.
You can’t just leave us hanging like that... spill it.

I thought I was going to love this one, but the podcast dude reminds me of Payne Lindsey, who gets on my nerves. He is trying too hard to use podcast voice, like Ira Glass. The affected pauses and cadence. I'm going to keep listening but it's distracting.
I miss Liar City. Awesome true crime stories with a much more original and engaging delivery/format.

Sword and Scale if you can get past the douche narrator/host. He’s awful

Both seasons of Dr. Death were solid (albeit terrifying). I listened to CounterClock recently, and liked that, too.
I started listening to Dr Death after reading your post. Holy crap this is insane and terrifying!

Bump because I listened to a few suggestions from here...
In the Red Clay - Damn good podcast, was a bit leery at points because of what seemed to be glorification, but really good story.
Missing in Alaska - meh, seemed much adu about nothing... was into the Louisiana connection, but it went on too long. Seemed really conspiratorial
Real Life Real Crime - damn good podcast. Hard to listen to due to the nature of the crimes.
This thread was great. Good job Baws!

Agreed. Dr. Death was recommended and I was hooked immediately. After the podcast I watched the series.

Just listened to “The Case” and it was pretty good. Not the best I’ve listened to but still an excellent investigation.

Y'all like a lot of boring shite.
For single episodes
-Small Town murder
-Sword and scale (episode 176 is the LSU episode)
-Real life real crime
Multiple episodes
-new Orleans unsolved (dude is still walking around)
- hunting warhead
-in the dark both seasons ( season 2 is about quadruple homicide in Mississippi)

One of the Little Füts has been saying how entertaining TC episodes are.
I guess I’ll give them a try.

How are his more recent episodes? This was one of my favorite podcasts til he went nuts a couple years ago fighting with fans on social media
