And…you’re proud of this? This is an LSU message board.

How long you been driving? Did you go to a driving academy? Was getting the license a pain in the arse?

I been thinking about doing this. I’ve been a plant baw for 26 years and to be honest, I’m fricking tired of that life.

Would like to spend the next 10 years driving/seeing the country while coasting into retirement.

My dad, who passed away yep years ago (officially tomorrow) drove trucks his entire career, basically.

I rode with him when I was a kid during some summers. Huge respect for truck drivers.

My dad drove over-the-road for JB Hunt, KLLM, and Vernon Sawyer through his career.

Be cooler if he made a thread about mods to his rig. Making a post about your salary and job perks on the OT is just dumb as frick. We make fun of MFers here…I’ll tow the line if no one else will.

My grandpappy started driving trucks after the carbon plant shut down. He made 100k a year hauling volatile chemicals in the 80s.

My boy quit travel soccer 3 years ago, and soccer all together last year. He’s moved on to kicking footballs.

Just started for McLeod Software. Our Transportation Management System dispatches and pays most of the industry. Been fun so far.
