A true crime series looks into the stripper's record, reminds us of what happened, mentions Duke paid each of the falsely accused young men twenty million dollars, and that the stripper went on to try to burn down a house with her children in it.
But what got her a jail term was the murder of her boyfriend (not pimp) with his kitchen knife. (His nephew said she was no good before the stabbing.)
I wonder if she ever used the scholarship that one of the camera chasers promised her, back when a segment of the population proclaimed her innocence?

I am still a little shocked they were able to get a fair shake and that Duke paid them. I hope, but I am not sure, this would happen today.

Duke also gave them years of eligibility back on the team and they went on to win the national championship I think the next year or two.

Duke has an 11.6 Billion endowment. They weren't sweating over that.

ESPN was one of many leftist outlets that convicted the players, then got to pretend like they did nothing wrong.
