I liked the old story of the Texas plumber whose truck appeared in terrorist video. He sold the truck with his business name and phone number on it. People called him asking why he supported terrorists.

Do you have any idea how amazing a diesel Tacoma runs and how long it lasts?

Over there, they are called Hilux's

This has always bothered me. Not because of the specific brand, which is one of the great brands in history, but because those diaper wearing, shite-flinging 10th Century boy-frickers have never created a single thing of value in history. Left to their own devices they would be tending small plots of land and molesting their sons. If the civilized world didn't provide them with cars those fricktards would still be walking and living among the camels.

that is what we used down in Argentina back in the 90's - nothing to see 300,000 miles on the Hilux's diesels - 95% of the contractors used them. Our company had the F250's with gas engines - the life span was around 75,000 miles.

Why? Because it's the only pickup truck available there.

That's why.

Well, you kinda can.....just 25 years later due to our import laws. Japanese Classics out of Richmond Va regularly ships all kinds of "forbidden fruit" vehicles that we're never officially available for the US market. I've seen numerous Nissan GTR Skylines & even a 1990 Toyota Hilux "4runner" that had a nice little turbo diesel....& it was stick! Needless to say it sold very fast. Check out their site, they even take care of all the paperwork involved In importing a car!
