Thinking about purchasing a new car. The choice is between Rav4 or CRV. They are about the same price.

What says the OT?

I drive a RAV4. It’s not a bad car generally, but since a 4 cyl., it’s sluggish unless in sport mode. And the air conditioning seems weak. Would not purchase again unless it is 6 cyl. and stronger air put out. I’ve had it a few years, so reliability-wise, it’s been stellar. I prefer it over the Honda, which looks like an egg on wheels or an old person’s car.

I chose between the two and took the CRV. More hatch space for my golf clubs

I just had to replace basically the whole thing in my not really that old Rav4. It always seemed to cool very fast, though. Otherwise, I love it. Plenty of room for all my horse stuff and good on gas. I’m the type to drive the wheels off a car.

Get a Rav4 prime if you can. Really fun hybrid SUV to drive that gets around 50miles on a full charge then is gas. Does 0-60 in 5.4s

CR-V has that automatic engine shutoff feature at red lights. I'm assuming most new cars do as well. If the Rav doesn't, then I'd get that.

Seconded. Honda has had some problems the past several years. Go look at the Honda subreddits and you will see everyone complaining about all the shite that’s broken on their new overpriced suvs.
