it makes me roll my eyes that people think that sophisticated food makes them sophisticated.

I know a guy in New Jersey who is worth over $100 million dollars whose habits would make everyone here think he's poor. Such a stupid judgment to make, but my wife said the same thing so

yeah any combination of cheese, rotel, and meat is glorious in my book.

I wanted to boil and grill, but my bro has work and I wanted to use his house. also the weather might not be too good here for that sort of activity. beers is all I know as of now.

my mother is wealthy and somewhere along the line, foods like this started being "tacky"

if it is good, who gives a shite. she was mortified when I made this for a football game when she had guests over, but guess what they were eating...it wasn't the caviar and weird dips she made...it was the trailer park dip

I didn't say that. what I said is people think their food choices should reflect their wealth...when I was a small child, popeyes was good to go...now it's "tacky"
