Call the general mgr. They dont like bad press. In 2011 they had my truck(2006 Chevy CC Z71) for 2.5 weeks for what turned out to be a bad electrical connector. The "tech" at All Star North replaced both cats,2 knock sensors and a computer to the tune of $2983.00
I paid it because it was "fixed" and went on my way.It did the same thing 15 miles down the road and had to ride the roll back.
I called the GM and he had the truck sent to the store on Sherwood where they found a corroded connector on the PCM and a bad injector. That cost right at 450.He didnt have to but he refunded me $2500.They kinda have you by the short hairs when you drop your vehicle off.

They get paid to not work on cars that's been sitting in their service department for over a week?

Serious question-why not take it out of there and bring it to an independent? A reputable independent. Dealerships are notorious for this kind of crap. Tell 'em to get it as it was when you brought it in. Get out asap.

If it is not under warranty this is a great suggestion

Seriously, I get cars on a regular basis that are IN warranty but the owner doesn't want to deal with the dealer's antics. They would rather just pay. we also get people that bring a list of crap the dealer says their car needs. The do this because they don't trust the dealership and they know we won't cheat them.

Met Matt one time when he flew up to Alex to give us a $15 bottle of wine.. That was some nasty stuff... He should have saved air plane fuel and stayed in baton rouge... He won't be doing that any more though...

They've had her car since last week for a simple sensor replacement,

lol thats why you dont go to the dealership. everyone knows that.

they are the most expensive place period. and they dont care about customers.

i know this because i worked at gerry lane and no one ever cared about anything. and that goes for every dealership.

she should have went to a small independent shop they have tons in baton rouge.

It was warranty work, they continued to assure my mom it would be ready the following day, she did take it away today but only after they lied for a week straight and then gave her hell today...lesson learned, but she wants to vent to somebody and I guess venting to the owner is about as good as it gets
