Have you even read the informed posts in the thread you started? Ebola has killed 1600 people in 40 years. I'll let you figure out where that ranks out among infectious diseases. Most of those affected have been close relatives/caretakers of family members with the disease, medical professionals, and mortuary staff. You have to come into contact with bodily fluid. It's not contagious during incubation. And there has never been a serious outbreak in an African city--frickin Africa in the 1970s was able to contain it.

Facts are dangerious? I should caveat it that those who've studied the disease for the last 40 years think there is about a 98% chance that it isn't contagious in incubation.

Neither. I did do a research project on Ebola in college and studied everything I could about health risks in Africa when I was working there.
