Reading that list really is an eye opener to how mild the USA has been in it's history. Thank God we've never had our Government kill people like that. When you read into how evil and manipulative some humans can be when in a position of power, it makes you understand how important things like the 2nd amendment are in this country. Don't think for 1 second it can't happen here if the people of this nation give up their constitutional rights to Government. On another note..there is not a single regime IMO as evil as the Nazis. I don't understand how you get so many people to support such atrocities. They actually thoroughly enjoyed killing people. Sickening
native americans and black people pre 1864 beg to differ

23 Josef Mengele
We had a holocost survivor speak at my high school, she was also a professor at Texas. She told a story about the night he called her into his office . The whole camp had rumors about his "medical" practices and experiments. She assumed she was dead when the guards pulled her from her cabin. When she got to his office he just wanted to dance.
It was pretty hard to understand through her accent but that was one powerful speech.

Went to Phnom Penh in 2011 and it was insane to see the fields. There was still bits of clothing and teeth in the ground. There was also "The Killing Tree" and it's where they beat babies against the tree while the mother watched. I don't get how people can do these things.
Makes me fricking sick

Yeah, I cant argue with Vlad being #1. It wasnt about how many people he killed, its was more about the % of people he came into contact that he killed (pretty much most of them) and the manner in which he killed them. He didnt just want to end peoples lives, he wanted them to die in the longest, most painful ways possible and actually took steps to make it take even longer (the whole thing about the impalement stakes being blunt). He cooked kids and made their parents eat them. He kept bodies around in his dining room so he could be around them while he ate.
He is clear cut #1. Its pretty plain and simple.
ETA: Yeah, and I agree with whoever said they were glad they put Stalin ahead of Hitler. That guy was pretty much pure evil too. He didnt just kill people, he fed them alive to his dogs and shite and he did it personally. Hitler almost wiped out an entire race of people, which ranks about as high as you can get on the a-hole scale, but I would be surprised if I found out he carried out much, if any, of this himself and stood there relishing in the anguish like people like Stalin and Dracula did. Thats just a special kind of evil sicko.

Romanians view Vlad as a national hero, which isn't surprising because Romania is an utterly worthless country

Vlad should be # 1. He bad. Er briet die Kinder!!!!

Meh. There is no historical evidence for a lot of this about Vlad. He's a national hero in Romania due to his fight against the invading Turks in the 15th century.

quote:
Ivan was Tsar of Russia from 1533 to 1584. Ivan was cruel, brutal and merciless even as a kid. When he was young, he had had habits of taking creatures like dogs, cats, bears, and other creatures to the top of tall buildings and then throwing them to the ground. Ivan killed people when he was a teenager. Ivan found them fun and amusing. When Ivan became Tsar of Russia, he became paranoid and started to see enemies everywhere. Ivan forced thousands to move from their lands and made them homeless. Ivan became obsessed with killing and torturing anyone he saw as enemies but most were innocent people. Ivan destroyed hundreds of villages, towns and cities. In the Novgorod Massacre, 60,000 were tortured to death. Ivan had his own personal torture chamber. Ivan tortured and destroyed entire families. Hundreds of parents were forced to see their children tortured and killed. Ivan ordered hundreds of people to be eaten by bears and wolves. He personally killed and tortured people with his long and hard staff. If Ivan ordered someone to be killed, he would often want to watch the execution. Some his executions were as long as 15 hours. He enjoyed seeing people’s blood and suffering from being tortured. Ivan ordered people to be beheaded, strangled, hanged, blinded, burned, stabbed, boiled, disemboweled, buried alive, impaled and fried. Ivan would often remove people’s ribs with red hot pinchers. Peasant girls were often tortured, whipped, raped and used for target practice. Religious leaders were tortured and killed if they begged Ivan to stop his killings. He blinded his architect and boiled his treasurer. Ivan killed one of his wives a day after their marriage. He even killed his favorite son in a rage. Ivan died while he was playing chess with one of his friends in 1466. Most likely he was poisoned.
