Yea, just saw that. I'm going to go ahead and call bullshite on that unless something dramatically unexpected occurs in the next couple hours.

Wouldn't rule it out just yet. Remember that regardless of the surface temps, frozen precip can still fall if the upper levels are moist enough for wetbulb effect and obviously cool down a tad.

Already getting some rain in BR at least means the lower levels are getting more saturated and with another front about to blow in and cool things down...there's a chance of some wintery stuff later.

I mean it's about the chance LSU wins a basketball national title this year, but a chance nonetheless.

It is possible for temps to drop if the precip comes in heavy enough. The GFS may be seeing the precip dropping our temps.
