Have a burger and fries at Good Stuff Eatery today. 3291 Wisconsin Ave, NW in Georgetown. Thank me later.

Bundle up. It's brutally cold out there today with the wind. I'm heading out to the Italian market in DC in a few.

I agree with Phantom of the Opera, but Wicked was brutal! I fell asleep and was woken by a friggen goat boy singing.

DC is a bunch of thugs hanging out in taxpayer funded buildings. The rest is ghetto. The smithsonian is the only thing worth spending time on.

Just spent five days walking around DC. Did not observe said thugs.

The Vietnam and Korean war memorials were cool. So was Arlington. Try to hit Mount Vernon, not far out of town, and we really liked it. Pay your respects to the Waahingtons.

Our founding fathers had balls of steel.

We hit the Baltimore aquarium last Sunday and it was nice. Saw the marines museum from the highway and I think we're gonna hit that otw back to GA. Thanks for the tips

Glad you enjoyed it.

Definitely see the MC museum if you have time, you can do it in an hour or two if you are rushed.

Since you're driving I thought I'd mention that in VA the law states that going over 80 mph (even on an interstate) is an automatic reckless driving ticket, and it's enforced pretty strictly. Not quite the same as down South, so be careful.

Have to disagree here. I saw Wicked with my girls a few months back and thought it was great.

I would also recommend Noises Off if it has opened. It is a British farce. I saw it about 15 years ago in a previous run. It is one of the funniest things you can see on stage, in my opinion. It is similar in tone to the show Fawlty Towers.

I'm a "she" but thanks for the vote of confidence. I haven't tried Angelo's pizza. I love John's pizza because of the interesting ambience (former church) even though it's a bit touristy and long lines. I'll have to try Angelo's next time.

Oops- sorry bout that. John's is good, but to me not great. The ambience is very cool and it is convenient for pizza before or after a show, but I personally find the pizza "fine". I know others disagree and think the pizza is great. It's just not the best for my taste.

Slept though most of "Wicked".

You're an idiot.

I agree with the guy that said to use public transport in DC. The Metro is the best train/subway in the US. Map out what you'd like to visit along the subway lines and leave your car at the hotel.

When in DC you'll want to check the news sites and see who is demonstrating for what in the mall around the capitol building. Sometimes fun to go walk around while they scream for whatever they're screaming for.

Holocaust museum was ok. I expected bigger crowds but that place was dead inside.

Are you supposed to get the storm up there? We're looking at 3-5 here with ice at the end. The snow is fine though the timing is bad but 1/4 inch of ice at the end will suck.
