What that area needs is a cleansing fire or a tornado while all the residents are away at work.

Nothing short of destruction will chase slumlords away.

A few places have had pipes and wiring stolen. Almost all of those buildings are tear downs. Running a D10 across the whole area a few times would be the cheapest option.

Id be interested to see what the layout potential developers have for the area. Maybe a bunch of places like Sharlo and fill the rest with 3-4 unit buildings. Problem is that doesn't maximize profit like a high rise

All that Baton Rouge Culture

It's not a Baton Rouge thing. The murder rate is higher in New Orleans, for instance.

So because a city 60 miles away has a higher murder rate, this can't still be deemed as Baton Rouge culture?
