If it has more than 3-5 ingredients you probably shouldn’t be eating it.

The real question is, are the amounts high enough to actually cause issues?

could be banned due to ingredients that are linked to cancer

Arsenic is in all rice basically but not in nearly high enough concentration to cause issues almost ever.

They actually already make alternates to every one of these that don’t contain the harmful additives at places like sprouts and online. Skittles and M&Ms included.

Well, so do cherry pits. Grind 40 or so into fine powder and voila. Death Dust.

why not just remove the ingredient that is suspected of causing harm?

I don’t always agree with Ralph Nader, but when I do, I am usually reading the ingredient list on American food packaging.

None of these will stop being produced if these chemicals are banned...they will just use alternatives then blame government overreach when they increase prices again for little to no reason.

The amount of artificial dye in everything is absurd. Why are anti-nausea liquids and children’s medicines dyed bright red? Potential health and behavior consequences aside, it stains everything. I’m fine with this. Once you become more aware of dyes and try to avoid them, you realize how prevalent they are for zero reason.

Exactly. The same companies already do for the versions they sell in other countries.

Arsenic is in rice naturally. The shite that they're putting in our food is being put in there intentionally. It's cool that you're simping for BigFoood, Inc. though.

Hydrox would have never done this to us.

Hydrox have been back for a while under Leaf Brands, if you want to check them out. They don't have all these additives.

You won't see them on grocery store shelves around LA, but Amazon and maybe Cracker Barrel will have them.

Absolutely no need for most of it.

Just a cost or shelf life deal for the vast majority of the additives.

They 100% should.

None of the things on this list have to be made the way they are. This is a pure efficiency, profit, shortcut that harms people period. I am all for lessening chemicals in food across the board.

This has nothing to do with freedom, and everything to do with pure profit motives that drive unhealthy habits in this country.
