I have a Mercedes that I drive every now and then(holding it for someone out of state)...thing floats and gives you no feel... I feel as if I don't fully have control and it's unsettling to me. I find the BMW, even though I hold negative sterotypes against them, to be far an away more fun, thrilling, and impressive than Mercedes.
I will go for a 70's SL, but that's about it when it comes to Benz, whatever money I would need to spend to get one, IMHO would be better served purchasing another manufacturer.

G37 Infiniti
RWD, V-6 Power and you will not have eleventy hundred dollar oil changes like the M-Bs or BMWs or Audis. Nissan dealers can work on them.
Alternatively, I have had one and still have another ES Lexus, other than the FWD, they were perfect. I didn't drive either ES regularly or I would have bought RWD.

There's almost no rear seat headroom. It works if all your passengers are 5'6" or shorter, otherwise you're screwed.

Get a corolla and pocket the change.

No self respecting man would drive that car. It screams "I have champagne taste but a beer budget."

What the hell is a coupe then? I thought by definition it was a two door.

Even with that observation, the dealer in BR can't keep them on the lot.

They are heavy cars indeed, and they're designed to float. They aren't "performance cars" straight out if the box like BMW. They AMG cars don't play, and I like them more than I like most other comparable sports cars.

Car looks pretty meh, but it ain't nothing 7th ward couldn't fix with $100 and a trip to autozone.
