I have thought about this before... Then I remembered all the fricked up shite I did in rentals. Not a good idea.

Never treated a rental kindly. I know im not alone. Would avoid buying a rental.

Why do people drive a rental car different than you would drive your own car? Just doesn't seem to make sense to try to destroy something just because it doesn't belong to me. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I'm a President's Circle member at Hertz, which means I rent from them more than 20 times a year. I would never buy a car from Hertz or any other rental car company.
Not only are they poorly taken care of by renters, but I often rent cars that are way past overdue for oil changes, etc.

Parents bought 2 Hertz rentals back in day...both were great cars and put 200000 miles on both cars...
